Biography has had many forms over the years since 1985 when the Anonymous Woman first saw the light of day.
As originally shown at the Kathleen Ewing gallery it came with captions. Subsequent versions had words, diptychs and other elaborations none of which seemed to stand the test of time.
In 2018, thirty-three years later, I again revisited the work and this time simplicity reigned. No words, just sixteen images intended to speak to the chapters in a woman's life.
I regard the sequence in the website as the final version.
